The challenge: With the introduction of resident charging for garden waste collections, we needed to: create a public-facing form, design a seamless payment process and establish integrations with 3 council systems and 3 waste systems.
Our single form solution: A public-facing garden waste form was created that allows customers to easily set up a subscription and pay for it. The next iteration added the ability to set up Direct Debit payments, ensuring hassle-free transactions.
A glimpse into the future: We see this project as merely the tip of the iceberg, as it grants us invaluable skills, knowledge, and technological advancements. Armed with these newfound tools, we are ready to embark on a journey of service project alignment throughout the new years of West Northamptonshire Council.
