Situation: West Northamptonshire Council was formed from the merger of four legacy councils. However, we found ourselves faced with 4 different websites, processes, and systems. The challenge was how to unite the websites and provide a seamless customer experience.
Our solution: Our exceptional web team, and subject matter experts, created a singular West Northants website on vesting day which provided a unified platform from day 1. It offers a clean, seamless, and user-friendly design whilst still enabling customers to access their sovereign service.
Future vision: This singular front door has helped pave our path toward process and form consolidation. The main West Northamptonshire Council website will replace sovereign websites within 6-8 months. Leaving just forms and processes to be unified. Customers will not be redirected to other websites. They can enjoy a unified platform, consolidated processes and a smoother customer journey.
